1. Who we are

School of Bias is a behavioural science education platform. Questions about your data can be directed to hello@schoolofbias.com.

2. What we collect

We collect the information you provide when creating an account (name, email address) and data generated through your use of the platform (lesson progress, quiz scores, certificate purchases).

3. How we use it

Your data is used solely to operate the platform — tracking your learning progress, issuing certificates, and processing payments. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

4. Third-party services

We use the following services to operate the platform:

  • Clerk — authentication and account management
  • Stripe — payment processing. Card details are never stored by us.
  • Google Analytics — anonymised usage analytics. No personally identifiable information is shared. See Google's privacy information.
  • Neon — database hosting (EU region)
  • Vercel — platform hosting

Each of these services has its own privacy policy and data processing agreements in place.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings, which permanently removes all associated data.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@schoolofbias.com.

7. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies for authentication. See our Cookie Policy for details.

8. Changes

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the platform.
